This is so painful no doubt you’re going through a lot but i suggest u only one plz go with FIXED RETAINER for this generation fixed retainer is best after ortho treatment
I suggest you to go for braces again and please please please use the retainers properly as mentioned by your orthodontist.once your braces are removed,i suggest you to wear your retainers for atleast one year(fulltime)followed by another six months(nighttime)you can also consider getting clear aligners if you are on budget..hope this helps
Definitely putting braces again can solve your problem but you need to understand the importance of retainers. If retainers are not worn properly, you will face the same issue again. Maintaining hygiene during braces treatment is also very important.
Next Steps
Visit an orthodontist.
Health Tips
Wear retainers efficiently post treatment & get all your cavities filled before orthodontic treatment.
Yes, it will help you. You can go for conventional braces or clear aligners. With aligners oral hygiene maintenance is better but treatment outcome depends on you, as you are in control of wearing the aligners. Get all your teeth decays treated and then proceed. Please use the retainers properly and for the entire durtaion of the time advised by the orthodontist.
Hi, Yes, you can go for braces again. The gaps and food lodgment are likely due to not wearing retainers and incomplete space closure earlier. First, get your decayed teeth treated. Then, go for metal or ceramic braces (better control for molar gaps). Clear aligners may work but are less effective for larger gaps. Don’t forget to wear retainers regularly after treatment to avoid relapse again.
