Hello If you have been diagnosed with diabetes and hypertension then medication is helping you regularize numbers . Follow your doctors advice and do not discontinue without permission . Pros vrs cons of taking medication are weighed before they are prescribed and perhaps more benefit from taking it rather than not taking it .sometimes having long term effects like kidney failure if not taken should be kept in mind . If you have family history of hypertension and high blood sugar then make sure you get multiple readings of BP . Also get Hb A1 C to see if diabetes is under control . You doctor can advice further .
