Jus give symptomatic treatment and treatment for infection.....get the other tests done.....wait for 3 to 5 days......if ur son is active nd well nd symptoms subside with meds.....then need not worry....jus repeat the test later.

There is an increase in platelet count, which might be a reaction to the present illness. Rest of the parameters r all normal n there's nothing to be worried about.

According to your sign and symptom you are suffering from acute upper respiratory tract infection. On the basis of your report number of RBC increase and no of  platelet  is also increase. Increase in the RBC number is known as Erythrocytosis. Increase in the platelet number is known as thrombocytosis . These can be increase due to some infection or due to deficiency of fluid in the body. You should start the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infection.
