Bleeding gums are a sign of gingivitis, or inflammation of your gums. It's a common and mild form of gum disease, and it's caused by a buildup of plaque at your gumline. If you have gingivitis, your gums may be irritated, red, and swollen. They may bleed when you brush your teeth. And the bad odour can occur because of plaque and calculus deposits in your mouth. Bad breath is caused by odor-producing bacteria that grow in the mouth. When you don't brush and floss regularly, bacteria accumulate on the bits of food left in your mouth and between your teeth.
Next Steps
Visit a Dentist to get the Scaling & polishing done which is required in this case, and if there would be any other issue the doctor will do the complete oral examination and let you know.
Health Tips
Brushing twice a day, rinsing after every meal, and flossing can help you a lot in maintaining the oral health.
