Bleeding in 3rd trimester
I am 32 years old... pregnant via IVF and icsi... pregnant with single baby...I got spotting in 6 th and 10th week of pregnancy for couple of days... doctor put me on gestone injection.. everything was ok...now 28th week one day I started to have heavy bleeding with clots...I went to doctor she said baby was fine and cervix was closed as well...they put me on injection and the bleeding stopped next day...they gave me tranexamic acid tablets for 3 days... during ultrasound they found that the collection of blood seen just above the cervix measures 3cm...I asked about the placental abruption but she said that it will cause pain...she couldn't find the reason for bleeding...I stopped tranexamic acid but I am worrying will it bleed again???what's the reason for bleeding...I don't have placenta previa...can you please help...

U need to keep watch on pv bleeding. If heavy bleeding or even spotting u need to consult ur doctr immediately .they will do ultrasound

Sometime bleeding can be idiopathic also where no cause could be determined

its common in some cases of ivf..u need to have bed rest..
