Bleeding due to placenta lying low
My wife is 15 weeks pregnant. Last 3 days she had bleeding due to placenta lying in lower part. Taken treatment..Now no bleeding but doctor advised a complete bed rest for 15-20 days. Need Second opinion in this problem. Does it may persists till delivery or any medicine to improve it. Is there any process/ medicines to move placenta upward?. Also suggest diet for same

There is no process to move the placenta upwards and there is no diet as such to change the placental position. The doctor who had recommended rest for her is highly important because the bleeding happen because the placental position is disturbed. Any form of agitation to the placenta in the form of constipation of cough or vomiting or even physical intercourse or travel has to be avoided. I need more details on weeks of pregnancy etc to give you a picture sir

Low lying placenta generally moves up by 22 to 24 weeks Till then rest is required No medicine to help move the placenta up There is no diet fr a low lying placenta
