Bilateral minimal pleural effusion
My husband donates his one kidney to his friend. He had back pain and both shoulder pain. Also at times light shortness of breath. On blowing respirometer only one ball goes up. On usg its shown bilateral minimal pleural effusion. Is it serious? Plz explain what it is

Bilateral pleural effusion means both ur lungs contains minimal fluid in the lung cavity. Meaning there much fluid in his body unable to be pumped effectively. It can be due to kidney causes , liver causes and heart issues In this case could be that enough urine may not be produced and let out or else heart is straining too much.

From what I understand you are located at Kerala. You could meet a physician or pulmonologist at Amrita hospital in elamakkara, Cochin. He should be evaluated in person. An ultrasound report alone is not enough to make an assessment
