Pleural effusion due to heart failure
My grandfather (age 76) has pleural effusion due to heart failure and I have written the medicines he has been prescribed.He has shortness of breath and it worsens at night.He is not able to sleep at night due to shortness of breath.He uses nebulizer at night,it only provides him relief for 2-3 hours.He had pleural tapping but the fluid accumulated again.What should we do to cure his shortness of breath at night.

He needs plural fluid analysis and other tests.pl consult pulmonologist and cardiologist for further evaluation and treatment.
