Nebuliser in pleural effusion
Hi my father-in-law, just had bypass surgery, due to surgery there is an pleural effusion in his right lung, we visited doctor who gave syrup and medicine to lower it down, but can we give nebuliser with nacl? Or plain water with Karvol plus drops in it?

Normally the plueral effusion after cabg,will slowly disappear.The Lung exercises with Respirometer may help. Pl consult Treating specialist.
