My brother has been diagnose by pleural effusion and doc has asked for surgery ... can anyone tell me is surgery must can't it be treated by medicines and what does it causes is it life threatening will it be cause of TB PLS REPLY I have attach reports

Please Surgery? Tapping is required Pleural fluid is sent for histopathological examination Treatment is given accordingly Tuberculosis is common cause for pleural effusion
