I have been detected with left pleural effusion with pleural cavity of 34mm depth
Kindly suggest what can be the cause
I have got the fluid removed

In our country TB is the commonest cause. Cell count and typing,sugar protein, AFB, ADA, malignant cells to be done with pleural fluid to arrive at a diagnosis.
