Barrage laser for lattice degeneration
Hi, I recently started seeing floaters. I consulted a doctor for that. On checking, i was told I've lattice degeneration and dry eye in both eyes. But no treatment is needed only observation every 6 months should suffice. But since it was retina issue, i consulted another doctor who suggested to have barrage laser done. I'm not myopic or anything else. I'm sceptical if i really need barrage laser or it can be monitored for now. Can you please suggest if I should go for barrage laser in both eyes or it can be observed? I'm very conscious about my eyes so I'm scared of it too. Please help

If it is lattice with a hole, then barrage LASER is a must.  Please take a 2nd opinion.

If you have lattice degeneration with hole then barrage laser is recommended...if you have only lattice degeneration with no hole then it should be observed...monitor your floaters also closely...if you observe its increasing then consult a retina specialist immediately
