Retinal holes and lattice degeneration
Hi, i got my eyes checked due to floaters and occasional flashes/flickering light. They found I've holes and retina degeneration. Its not an emergency so I'll get barrage laser done next month. However, i was told laser can only seal holes in both eyes and not lattice so retina will stay weak. I'm young and really active in sports and gym. Doctor said I'll need to stop it forever because it can cause retina teae due to pressure build up. Even light exercises like neck movements should be stopped. I'm very depressed hearing this. My whole life will change. Can you please guide if these restrictions are permanent? And how much risk I've of vision loss? I've 6/6 vision no other condition or genetic. It happened out of nowhere without any risk factor. Please guide me. I'm an artist so my vision is really really important and I can't just accept if my life will change completely.
