You are only 21yrs old,your myopic power has stabilised? Lasik is done only after myopic power is stabilised. In males myopic power increases upto20-21, sometimes upto 24- 25 yrs.2 months after laser barrage in lattice degeneration ,you can go for lasik but only after through retinal check up to avoid retinal complications in future.

No precautions and drawback as such.. if you develop flashes of light then you should report to doctor immediately.
6wks after the barrage laser you can consider LASIK.

You can go for Lasik after treatment of lattice .
However you will need specific tests to see your fitness for Lasik.
