Back pain Radiating to left leg..tingling sensation over the leg..since last 5 yrs Does epidural steroid injection releive the pain.? is it very painful.? For how long it is effective.?

It's not painful , short procedure . But needs clinical examination to check the suitability for injection.

For effective of injection it depends on how much nerve compression is there . Before any comment needs more details on history and MRI imaging
