Back pain after delivery is common as there is calcium and iron loss during pregnancy. And it will take time to get covered naturally. Back pain may also be due to spinal anesthesia given during delivery if she had cesarian section. Gynecologist would have already advised her for iron and calcium tablets. As she is breastfeeding she might feel tired and sitting for breastfeeding for long time also can cause back pain. You can go for homeopathic treatment as well. As those medicines have no side effects and safe during breastfeeding also. Can contact or chat separately for further discussion.
This is easy to treat with following
- supplementation with Vit D and Calcium etc after checking blood levels
- take full care of her. She must have proper diet sufficient rest and sleep. She should not carry weight or do some exertion.
- pain management with physiotherapy acupuncture homeopathy will give relief
Please note that there are many causes for post delivery backache. Administration of spinal anaesthesia during cesarean section also constitutes as common reason for post delivery backache.
Gynecologist might have prescribed calcium supplements. It is advisable to see gynecologist in current situation.
