Post appendectomy pain

Asked for Female, 23 Years

I had an emergency appendectomy last night and I came home around noon today. My pain is still pretty high and the pain killers are not working. My whole belly is bloated and very tender. I am also shivering. Not sure if this is normal or if I should return to the er
