Hello, Some causes may be harmless, while others may require immediate medical attention. Common causes for left abdominal pain are diverticulitis, constipation, intestinal obstruction, left kidney stones or kidney infections. If you don't have any associated symptoms like altered bowel habbits or problem with micturition then its back pain due to pathology in spine .Consult general surgeon. Ultrasound is required for diagnosis.
