Since you are breastfeeding, it’s important to choose Ayurvedic supplements that are nourishing (balya and brihmana) yet safe for lactation. You can try the following under guidance of an Ayurvedic physician: 1. Shatavari Kalpa or Shatavari granules – 1 teaspoon twice daily with warm milk. It supports lactation, improves digestion, and helps gradual healthy weight gain. 2. Ashwagandha lehyam or Ashwagandhadi lehyam – 1 teaspoon once daily with milk after meals. It helps improve strength, appetite, and muscle mass. 3. Drakshavaleha – useful if you have weakness, fatigue, or low appetite. Diet & lifestyle tips: • Take balanced homemade meals rich in ghee, milk, dates, soaked almonds, and moong dal khichdi. • Avoid fasting, skipping meals, or excessive tea/coffee. • Ensure good rest and hydration.
Next Steps
Avoid strong or heating formulations like Chyawanprash with added rasa preparations without supervision. Always start with small doses and observe your baby for any digestive changes.
