No. What you say sugar is sucrose. What doctors mean sugar is glucose. You should not totally avoid glucose as it will lead to fatigue. Oily foods you can avoid but still some amounts of oil especially which are healthy ( which contain essential fatty acids ) is necessary. Refer back if more enquiries
