ATFL Ligament tear
I have an ATFL tear in my ankle. Its been 4 months now, though the swelling is gone but it still pains when I walk a lot, how much time does it take, I want to avoid surgery at all costs, is that a wise decision?

Dear Sir Once the ligament is torn completely it never heals on its own and it makes the joint unstable which leads to damage of surroundings structures over a period of time ,hence it is necessary to repair it ,i am a sports medicine surgeon kindly share your MRI and reports on online consultation and I shall guide you further
