In the past few weeks I have had instances of extreme anxiety which have resulted in stress issues and frequent bursts of panic.

Anxiety is mostly due overreacting to future consequence. Once you meet a psychologist tell him to make a action plan. CBT anxiety plan can help you to get very good results in 10 sessions with proper graded exposure and Action plan.

Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc are signs of anxiety. These can be debilitating. If the anxiety us overwhelming, consult a psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve. Other than that, try yoga, deep breathing, meditation, moderate exercise, progressive muscular relaxation and guided meditation.

Hi. Anxiety in response to stress is a common problem. In your case, it's unclear as to what you are calling as panic. I am assuming that you must be having intense anxiety attacks lasting for some time. It would be suggestive of panic disorder. The best way forward will be to get yourself evaluated completely by a psychiatrist. Accordingly treatment can be started in firm of medications and psychotherapy.
