Anxiety and negative thoughts
I am having some kind anxiety from last 6 months when I came to know that my mother is having diabetes. Then I got my 2 MBBS exams, there also I sufferd anxiety and got 68%.My fear will be once( for 2to 3 hrs ) a day. when I play some sports , outdoor activities I forget all negative thoughts and fear.I m also having fear of death sometimes.and negatives about everything i see,think.please help

Being anxious about your mother's well being is normal. You have to cope up with this anxiety by ventilating the pent up anxiety with your mother. This would enhance the quality of bonding you share with your mother. Also that your concern means that once you complete your MBBS you would put forth your knowledge and compassion  to her care. Take this as a motivation to perform well.

As you are a mbbs student, u must be knowing that anxiety is a pretty much treatable condition. Go visit your psychiatry department, get a therapy session. You will be alright.

Mild Anxiety is curable with some therapy, try to engage more in sports and with your friends. If this problem persists or you feel that it hampers your studies then consult a psychiatrist.

Getting anxiety in response to a stressor is a normal response however this reaction should not interfere with your socioeconomic functioning.if you think your academics have declined because of your anxiety then it needs treatment.
