Hello, psychiatry medications are usually given for a long period of times, and until your symptoms completely resolve it is not advisable to stop the medications. Consult your doctor before stopping the medications. If you are symptom free for more than few months then the doctor can gradually reduce your medications. And if you are doing well with the medications then don't worry about the side effects too much. Take care
