Ankel pain both side and sweling
From before 6 months there was pain in my right ankel and sweling and i have constulted from ordopadic doctor he told i have gout because my Euric acid is 9.3 and doctorhas precribed me tablet feburic-40 so sir from last 20 days my left leg ankel also started pain and sweling and now the pain is incresing from my left ankel to my waist so that feburic-40 is good for me or not or ia there side effect.. Or can you please give me some good advice or Medicine to cure euric acid and my gout and i am also taking bp medicine

Hello dear Thanks for reaching out Having sequential involvement of both ankles over a small period of time (6 months in your case) could be due to a systemic disease. I hope they have been ruled out by due testing. If not we need to look beyond just raised uric acid for a raised uric acid without small joints involvement is not gout. Regards Dr Vipin Gupta

I feel your left ankle pain & swelling is secondary to your effort to protect the right ankle since 6 months. Both the swellings are due to excess loads on both areas due to repetitive sit to stand or continued standing. Do you have knee pain?
