Anemia problem
I took a hemoglobin test in May and it was normal. But after two surgeries for wisdom tooth removal (mesial impaction) on October 2nd, I started feeling tired sometimes. So I rechecked my hemoglobin and now it is 9.7. How can I increase it?

Hi You are anemic and when you consider your height and weight you seem to be a little underweight too. Right eating habits at right time with sufficient fluid intake as well as good rest is required. Sometimes the underlying cause of anemia has to be detected before deciding it is the surgery which is the cause. Irregular monthly cycle, excessive bleeding, worms in the body, thyroid imbalances could be the reason for the anemia. Rules of the factors causing it with following the right balance of eating from the five major food groups with stress on eating green leafy vegetables, grains and cereals Adding red meat, moringa leaves adding dates and raisins can further improve your iron deficiency.

Root cause of Low iron level may vary. Though you can add natural iron sources like green goddess juice/ reisin water/ green leafy vegetables etc. Better is to figure out the reason first and change the diet accordingly.  You can get the constitution (vata/pitta/kapha) check and go accordingly. That dietary change will be as per the bodily requirement.
