I have gained approx 9 kgs in 1 yr. 3 months back got to know i have thyroid 10.5 so been taking meds of 75 mg n now it has come down to 5.5. but my weight is not going down no matter how much i exercise or diet. infact my get swollen everyday.

Hello mam, For reducing weight follow three main things like healthy diet, exercise and brisk walk morning and evening. Take high fiber food in ur diet. Add more fruits and vegetables in ur diet. Add plenty of water. Small and frequent feeding should be included in your diet. Avoid junk food and oily food. Due to thyroid avoid certain vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, spinach, beetroot, cauliflower, sprouts, radish etc

Please continue on thyroid medication..take a balanced high protein,fibre diet, with lots of fluid. Carry on with excercise. Avoid cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, soya and soya products.
