Hello. This is quite common and usually improves with the right diet and routine, but the best plan depends on your age, health history and lifestyle. I’d be happy to look at your full picture in a one-to-one consultation and give you a personalised diet plan.

Considering Ozempic may be an option, as it can help with blood sugar control and weight management in suitable patients. However, it is important to consult an endocrinologist or diabetologist before starting it. The doctor will review your current diabetes medications, HbA1c, kidney function, medical history, and other relevant factors to determine whether this medication is appropriate for you.
Health Tips
Do not start Ozempic on your own or discontinue your existing diabetes medications without medical advice. If you take insulin or certain diabetes tablets, the doctor may need to adjust your treatment to reduce the risk of hypoglycaemia. A combined medical and nutritional approach can help you achieve better long term results.

Semaglutide (Ozempic) is commonly used in long-standing type 2 diabetes to help with both blood sugar control and weight loss, and someone in your situation can often suit it. But starting safely means checking your current diabetes medicines, kidney function, and any personal or family history of thyroid tumours or pancreatitis first.
Next Steps
Please see a diabetologist or endocrinologist in Mumbai before starting, carrying your past diabetes reports and your earlier doctor's notes, so they can set the right dose and adjust your other medicines alongside it.
Health Tips
Don't start it on your own just on an old recommendation, since your current dose and monitoring need to be set by the doctor seeing you now.
