Hi.. can i take triphala in pregnancy...first trimester... Facing pile fissure and hard stool n constipation issue... Had cholecystectomy before... Pl suggest isabgol not working for me...

Yes you can take tab. sukshma triphala in pregnancy has no teratigenic effect on the baby. But you need to make some changes in your lifestyle and diet.

Your all sorts of problem are related to your liver actually . Perhaps it is bit fatty.That's creating your problems.

Maintain frequent walk within your capacity at frequent intervals bare foot in your home or at gross if possible. Keep yourself calm and quiet with deep breathing without exertion. You can occasionally use phal kalyan ghrit one tea spoon at night with milk. Use jatyadi ghrit near anus. you can use lotus seeds (makhana) with milk. Keep yourself always hydrated with soft fibre rich foods. Instill few drops of almond oil daily in your nostrils. Rub your soles with cow ghrit at night. Get regular massage with til oil of whole body.

No dont take triphala Or any medicine. As much as possible follow healthy eating which helps in constipation. Drink plenty of water. Eat oats, fibre rich foods such as beans, green leafy vegetables, raddish, raisins soaked in water at night and have it in the morning empty stomach. Drink a glass of warm milk at night. Also drink hot water In the morning. Don't strain yourself while passing stools. Walk around for few minutes. Having hot tea also helps. Also eat bananas, don't eat apples , dry nuts such as almonds, chicken, mackerels, prawns, crabs, and spicy foods. Take curds. Dont eat chapati, or any maida products also avoid junk

Hi If you have pregnancy then consult with your gynaecologist .Don't take any kind of medicine without his or her prescription because in ayurvedic medicine some content have garm tasir which may harm your pregnancy. So take only that medicine which is prescribed by your doctor. :-in constipation you can take hot milk one glass before sleep
