Triphala or Isabgol
I have a healing fissure, due to which i need to keep my stools soft. I was using modern medicine laxatives such as Duphalac/Lactifiber until now. I want to quit these laxatives and use natural laxatives. I stated using 5 gms of Isabgol in the night after food. But Isabgol is causing 2 problems: 1: It makes me gassy. 2: It makes me use the toilet multiple times, and i dont get the comfort of an empty stomach after using Isabgol. Can i switch to Triphala instead? Will Triphala just soften the stools without making me use the toilet multiple times?

If ur gut is dry then triphala is a bad option for u...since isabgol leads to gas formation, this means ur gut is dry. So...according to me triphala will also makes u to go toilet multiple times.
