Tmj and jaw discomfort pain

Actually wisdom tooth got removed. Since few months onwards considering oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Doctor is telling to consult ent surgeon. There is no dental issues. Actually I have considering oral and maxillofacial surgeon. They are telling that tmj is not my specialist. Actually only right side is troubling me a lot. Pain around ear and swelling around facial. Applying Ice too. X ray are clear. I had already considered too much of oral surgeon and ent too. Only fruit juices and milk with oats

Can you elaborate when the wisdom tooth was removed. Trauma may have been caused due to excessive and long duration of mouth opening. Consider only soft diet and cold ice pack. If it doesn't subside check for steroid injection only by a licensed dental Practioner.

Pain may be due to tmj disorders. Corticosteroids along with muscle relaxants has to be taken. Physiotherapy and dietary instructions to be followed. You can consult through this for prescription of medication.
