How to relief from wisdom tooth pain
My tooth is paining any solution for it its been four days my wisdom teeth is paining tried pain killer but not working please do let me know how to get out of it

Avoid hot and cold food and beverage. Take soft diet. Warm water gargle three times a day. Maintain oral hygiene. Whenever it possible visit nearest dental clinic for radiographical examination of this tooth and further dental treatment. Rx. Tab augmentin 625 mg twice a day after meals for 4 day. Tab metrogyl 400mg Three time a day after meals for 4 day. Tab zerodol sp twice a day after meals for 4 day. Cap pantop d once a day before meals for 4 day. If there is any problem occur with following prescribe medicine than stop it and consult with physician.

Dear ma'am. Pain in the wisdom tooth, can be because of many reasons/Causes, and treatment would depend on the cause. Some common reasons: 1) tooth is impacted and pushing the neighbouring tooth Treatment: removal of the tooth 2) it is decayed and infection is involving pulp Treatment: RCT/ Extrn 3) pericoronitis Treatment: pericoronectomy and curettage and subsequently hygiene care.

All suggestion given below are good I would suggest to see the dentist as the clinical and radio graphical examination will decide the treatment plan whether the tooth has to be removed because of less space for the out or the tooth is not aligned in correct position or if erupted then there may be cavity in the tooth

Use of Betadine mouthwash and also warm salt water rinses 3-4 times a day will help Keep the area clean by rinsing ur mouth whenever u eat anything

Hello Maam  ,Welcome to Practo Its quite common so donot worry first of all. -Betadine gargle in luke warm water - Cap Sporidex 500 1 cap bd x 5 days - Tab Zerodol SP 1 tab td x 5 days. - Cap Pan D 1 cap bd before meal x 5 days . Above medication given by Drs are good...It would be wise to visit dentist and trim opposing tooth as it would relieve Ur wisdom tooth irritation for the time being....

If you are not allergic to allopathic medicines you can take Tab.oratil 500mg bd twice daily after meal tab.metrogyl 400 bd twice daily after meal tab.Esgipyrin sp bd twice daily after meal tab.beplex forte od once daily after meal cap.Rabemac dsr od morning before meal Ornigreat gel apply on that wisdom tooth and gum 4 times in a day for 10 days. Avoid food n liquid for half n hour after application then gargle with room temperature water

Considering no history of medicine allergy, For the time being, do have these medicines prior to visit dentist, T. augmentin duo 625, 3 times/day.after food 10 tablets. T.metrogyl 400, 3 times/day.after food 10 tablets. T.ultracet/zerodol PT, maximum 3 tablets a day, if pain,after food T. Roles D,once a day, before food,for 4 days T.A to z gold, once a day, after food,10 tablets. If difficulty in opening mouth or chewing or swallowing, these are usually associated with  tooth infection. If feverish, that can be as a secondary  infection from tooth.

gargle forcefully as much as you can afford er every food intake to keep the area cleaned and avoid the worsening of the infection. do not do hot compression /balm/ointment application extra-orally. avoid very hot/cold/hard/sweet/sticky food soft diet do not neglect brushing after meal. hold mouthful of Luke warm salt water in for sometime; you can do it for few times a day, if it's relieving your pain, even partially.
