From what you’ve said, it sounds like you’re undergoing a stressful time due to the career setback which in turn might have caused the symptoms like sleep troubles, vertigo, nausea and fear. This stress might have also caused you to withdraw from the external world including your family. This concern of yours needs to be explored further for a better understanding and this can be done through therapy. I completely understand that lack of sleep and the associated symptoms can inhibit your daily functioning which might cause irritability and frustration. It’s crucial to seek therapy at this stage because this might lead to many more mental health concerns like depression and anxiety if not attended immediately.
