Typhoid fever typically presents with: - Sustained high fever (usually higher in the evening) - Fever lasting more than 5-7 days - Relative bradycardia (pulse rate lower than expected for the fever) - Headache, body aches - Loss of appetite - Abdominal discomfort Your CRP level of 6 mcg/ml indicates mild inflammation, which is consistent with the infection.
