On winter mornings, excessive mucus production happens and I feel tightness in lungs that causes difficulty in breathing. If I take any medicine that gives me temporary relief,Is there any permanent solution for this?

A permanent cure will only be to go somewhere warm and unpolluted during winter season which may not be possible. However symptoms can be better controlled and medication reduced wirh certain  breathng exercises and strength training. Steam inhalation in the moening and ecwning will also help.
