Hello all,
I'm 23 year old and now only started my career. I have anger issues from my childhood. Now a days it is getting worsen where I'm self harming to overcome my anger. My anger appears only when someone shouts or fights with loud sound or when someone speaks abusive or bad words. Otherwise I'm being normal only at any cost that triggers anger. At the time of anger, I feel like hitting myself or breaking something and palpitations occurs. During my childhood, whenever I feel anger problem, i shout out loud and hit someone near me. I don't know whether it is a problem that requires immediate consultation or is there any other way like meditation or yoga by which I can sort out this problem?
I came from a family where drinking causes a major impact and also child abuse happened to me. Please advise

Your anger might be due to unresolved issues. Self harming is a serious thing and you need to get help. Yoga etc are helpful but at this stage, it's important to get a professional opinion so that the right treatment is given
