ACL reconstruction surgery
Had a fall, MRI report said partial ACL tear, for 5 months I did physiotherapy, however the pain in the knee is there and I can't walk comfortably due to pain and I also limp when walking. I want to under go ACL reconstruction surgery. But I stay on 3rd floor, blgd has no lift. After surgery when will I be able to put full weight on my operated leg . once I am discharged from the hospital, Will it b OK to put weight on my operated leg and climb 3 floors. Please let me know.

After ACL reconstruction, you can start toe walking very next day. Knee bending exercises are started simultaneously. For going up-stairs you need help immediate post op. After 1-2 weeks you can walk with full feet on floor but partial weight bearing.
