Acidity and Indigestion
My father is currently on Bed rest due to Major Knee Injury. We are majorly keeping eyes if any day he has not having any gas/acidity during to Indigestion etc. I wanted to know what are the immediate effects of removing acidity/indigestion if created? Is it good to have Gas Medicine daily at morning before food or can be taken only when needed along with other medication ? Thanks in advance.

See,since he had experienced knee injury and most probably he is on complete bed rest as of now and must also be taking some pain killers for same.So,i must tell you that he will problem of acidity will only be cured by medicine only and he should continue acidity medicine as long as he is taking pain killers. In addition,there are no side effects of taking antacid for short duration.

Take Nexpro 30 minutes before breakfast for 5 days. Avoid spicy foods. Avoid coffee and tea in empty stomach.
