I was 5 weeks pregnant so took abortion pills. I passed clots and had heavier bleeding than usual on the first day and light bleeding on the second. Does it mean the abortion pills have worked or not ?

Abortion pills have worked. So the embryo will not grow further. But whether it is expelled completely or not will be decided by an ultrasound scan.

You would require an ultrasound on day 11 counting from the day you started to bleed to ensure that the process of abortion is complete
