My husband was facing short breathness for a few days now and we got his ABG report tested today. Please guide on the attached report.

Hey. Your husband has developed respiratory alkalosis with electrolyte disturbance.. i think he has some underlying disease . Does he have COPD? is he a smoker!?. I need to have a short history .

Make decoction of crushed ginger 6 GM+ basil leaves 20 in number, black pepper crushed 5 in number, boil all these in 300 ml water until 150 ml reduce, restrain this water and add 2 teaspoon honey, consume this tea twice s day for 7 days. Hope get complete cure.

Acute Respiratory Alkalosis (uncompensated) Probably due to Hyperventilation Respiratory Alkalosis is not life threatening however underlying etiology to be rule out

Suggesting respiratory alkalosis.. it might be due to some disease or secondary hyperventilation ABG is just a investigation help in to diagnose/ rule out certain diseases.. Physical checkup and few other investigations like x-ray, ECG/ECHO  blood investigations might be required for proper diagnosis and treatment

Looks respiratory acidosis, due to heavy breathing. Oxygen is high because he was on supplemental oxygen during the blood sample collection.
Next Steps
Potassium seems very low. ABG levels aren't reliable when it comes to sodium and potassium.
Health Tips
Repeat Na and K. Get a chest Xray if breathlessness persists. Need to rule out anxiety too as cause of shortness of breathlessness.
