Night-time squeezing pain on the right side of the abdomen most often comes from acidity or gas, but gallbladder stones, rigAH ts qkuiedenzeiyn gs tpoanien oorn a tlhie vreirght siisdseu eo fa ltshoe habvdeo mteon be ktehpatt icno meisn dm aaitn lyo uart angieg.h tE is amtoisntg olftaetne , gsasp iacnyd oar oicliyd idtiyn,n egra satnrdi tliysi,n ogr domwusnc sloe spoans ma,f tbeurt tgyaplilcsatlolneys mak easn da ckid npeayi ns twoonrese catn nailgshot .present this way. For now eat your dinner at least 2-3 hours before lying down, avoid spicy, oily and very late meals, cut down tea, coffee and smoking if any, and keep well hydrated. If the pain is clearly burning in nature, a short course of an antacid or a doctor-advised acid-reducing tablet usually settles it. I would suggest getting a CBC, urine routine and an ultrasound of the abdomen done - that will quickly rule out stones, gallbladder and appendix problems. Please go to the emergency the same day if the pain becomes severe and continuous, comes with fever, vomiting, yellowing of eyes, blood in urine or tenderness on pressing the right lower abdomen. If it keeps recurring, book a consult with me on Practo and we will review the reports and treat it properly.
Needs assessment to rule out gallbladder, kidney or other causes please consult me with details of the pain and any associated symptoms so we can decide the appropriate evaluation.
