A small mouse bit me
A small mouse that's been ony house for over a week now, today a few minutes ago it bit me near my nostrils while I was sleeping. I woke up with the pain. Do I need rabies injections? Since the floors are all wet due to the rains, could it have transmitted any disease by coming near my nostrils if it was wet? I blew my nose hard to clear any pathogens going in my nose. What needs to be done now?

Exposure to domestic rodents do not ordinarily require anti rabies vaccination, however, rodent bites in forest areas may require PEP.

1) Clean the wound,
2) Apply an anantiseptic

4) Take a tetanus shot
