Hello doctor i have done meniscus repair(bucket handle tear) on my right and there is an stable tear on my left so meniscus rasping done .as per exercises given by my physio..,i am doing knee strengthening core exercises for totally 1.5 hrs daily and walking for 30-45 minutes... it's been 5 months completed... My question is can I drive two wheeler on roads now..my bike is of around 120 kgs .and my weight current is 80kgs..can i ride cycle on road. Kindly give an consult.thank you

If there was only meniscus injury and rasping was done then u can drive two wheelers...if u had any ligament reconstruction done or meniscal repair done then u should wait for some more time..

Hi, What do you feel. Do you think you can manage the weight of the bike on your knee? Have you tried doing weight training in physio. Ask you physio where you are at in your recovery

Hello The ability for you return to these activities depends on your return of knee Proprioception and the muscle strength. This can be decided based on the activities test during your knee rehabilitation which your physiotherapist and the treating doctor can assess and help decide
