Hello, I am 4 weeks pregnant and missed my periods a week back. Took my beta HCG test on the first day of missed period and it was around 343. Then took again after 48 hours, and it was 942. The doctor asked me to come at 6th week for the scan. My question is HCG levels should double every 48 hours. So why was I not recommended to take the blood test again? Is it okay to proceed like this?
