unless you are having angina(cardiac chest pain) or myocarditis like symptoms,no need for Echo. Provided you don't have any pre-existing cardiac complication.

If you have cardiac complications due to whatever reason then you need ECG and 2D ECHO. Falciparum Malaria per se doesn't need Cardiac evaluation.

No ECG and echo are not required for malaria diagnosis. However, they may be required for cardiac evaluation in case patient is elderly or has signs and symptoms of heart disease including chest pain, breathlessness, etc. for more info kindly consult.
