Visited Dr. Anand S Vinekar (Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon)
Note: This doctor is no longer practicing at
Dr. Anand S Vinekar and Team is very professional & They are treating & observing my son (B/O Bhavani Devi _ Karan Chandra) from almost 2 Yrs. (from NICU to Till Today). When his team arrives when babies in NICU of various hospitals , they explain very well to each parents regarding ROP & it's causes, effects on children.
When coming to Dr. Anand Sir's consultation @ Narayana Nethralaya (NN), he is very soft spoken & well mannered even though there is a huge crowed in the hospital (What I heard he is the only doctor who handles KIDS ROP related issues allover Karnataka).
Dr. Explains issues very well & Highly Experienced.
Thanks for his advise & Caring towards today's Kids who are tomorrow's BRIGHT FUTURE.
Best Regards,
Giridhar A
Visited Dr. Padmamalini Mahendradas (Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon)

Dr.Padmamalini is a messiah for my nephew. We met her when my nephew was a kid. He is born with hearing loss. On top of it when we realised he has difficulty seeing we couldn't imagine how his world could turn upside down. We went to consult at NN and that's when we meet first time many years ago dr.Padmamalini. She addressing him lovingly 'Kanna' lightened our hearts. Since his condition is rare, she dealt with it patiently and cautiously. Initally when it appeared surgery was difficult, she managed keep his vision by washing with some liquids. On a long run continuing to do that wasnt an option. When many others said he might lose his sight, she performed the surgery and saved his vision for his life. Our family holds high respect and regards for her. She belongs to a rare breed of humans only most of us can dream of. She is a example of truest doctor. If you are consulting her, belive me she will provide you with the best solution possible in this world for your condition.

Deep regards and gratitude to Dr Bhujang Shetty. He treated both my parents across a long period.
My father was recollecting his polite, homely, interaction. He puts patients at such ease. This offered me much relief during my mother's surgery.
He has a holistic outlook while being very experienced at his work. A wonderful doctor and human being!🙏
Visited Dr. Sharon D Souza (Ophthalmologist/ Eye Surgeon)
Note: This doctor is no longer practicing at
Sharon was supposed to carry out my keratoconus surgery (C3R procedure).
From the get go, she was not clear on the exact procedure to be followed during the surgery. She claimed that "epi-on" procedure (trivial, and non serious) would be sufficient for me. ***** *********** ** *** ******** when I approached her again and asked for clarification, she spoke very badly, and said that the "only" procedure she would follow for me was "epi-off" (a much more serious procedure).
To top it all, on THE DAY of the surgery, she suddenly began suggesting a whole new "intax ring" procedure, *** *** **** ******** *** ****** ** ****** **** ** ***** *** *** ************** She also forced us to go and start trying contact lenses BEFORE the surgery and basically tried to make us buy the lenses.
Absolutely shocking with her behaviour, *** ***** **** ***** ***** and doesn't care at all about the patient.
