I am a 67 year old retired banking official who is a diabetic patient. In the month of November 2022, I had breathlessness and I visited Aster RV Hospital. The Doctors - Dr.Venkatesh S was very quick to diagnose the problem as Heart Failure and his treatment was instrumental in me coming out of a very critical condition. Dr.Venkatesh immediately did Angiogram and found that there were severe blockages and since my condition at that time was not that good, Dr.Venkatesh took a very right decision to treat me medically and allowed me enough time to gain strength to withstand heart bypass surgery. Later, I had an incident of irregular heart beats on 8th Feb 2023 and I immediately contacted Dr.Venkatesh S who was kind enough to give timely suggestion. I was then admitted to Aster RV and my pulse rate was first stabilized. Dr.Venkatesh never does anything unwantedly and his decisions are always backed by scientific evidence. I was then suggested a PET scan to check if my heart tissues are alive and only upon those findings, Dr.Venkatesh S suggested that heart bypass would be a good solution for my condition. Since my heart pumping was weak, Dr.Venkatesh S again using all his experience suggested to use IABP(Balloon) to take the load off my heart during surgery. This was a very critical decision and helped the Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon Dr.Divakar Bhat during the Surgery to control the heart. Dr.Venkatesh S is a very kind and approachable doctor who is always available to the patient and their attendants. He is methodical in his approach and never does anything unwantedly. He is a thorough gentleman and a great Cardiologist with excellent knowledge and a person with a touch of humanity. I will always be indebted to Dr.Venkatesh S for his great help to our family and he is a God Sent Angel to our family. Not only our case, we have seen so many patients and families being saved by his great acumen and skillset.

Dr.Venkatesh S also took a great decision of implanting ICD for my case which has the potential to be a life saver for patients like me. ICD Operation also was performed very well by his team.

Today, the 12th April 2024 i visited the Aster RV Hospital Bengaluru for an appointment with Dr. Krishna Chaitanya.The Specialist in Vascular diseases.

I had my own inhibition on the outcome of my visit, as the Dr.'s visit ( consultancy) was not for me, but for my 77 year old Mother in-law. She was suffering from Varicose vein, related skin inflammation.

We thought of the language issues as my mother in law was not comfortable with English & also Dr's, keeping the patient at a distance both physically as well as mentally during consultation. ( Mine & my spouse's experience most of the time when we visited the other doctors for any ailments in Bangalore)

As a surprise we did not face issues mentioned above. The Dr. Welcomed us with a smiling & assuring face. He was very courteous with the patient, my mother in law, my self & my spouse. With a very smiling & encouraging face, he was able to get the information on her ailment from my mother in law.

As Dr.'s questions were in fluent Kannada, the patient was able to confidently explain all her ailments.

At the end of the consultation, the way the Dr. explained the patient's illness & the remedial measures viz., Medication through Tablets, Skin Ointments, Compression Stockings etc. my mother in law said " MY AILMENT IS 50% gone just by meeting you Dr." She also told about joint pain in knee, Foot & also Spondylitis. For these also, he suggested remedial measures. All three of us were very happy to have decided to Consult this Doctor. HOPE MOST DOCTORS I consult in my life time be of same type.

One fine day, I realised that i had lost my hearing capability in one of my ears. Went to few doctors who advised steroid tablets which I was not fine with taking, however i took it for 3-4 days and then stopped it fearing side-effects. These doctors didnt guarantee that i will get back the hearing, another reason for me not to take the med. After around 15 days, I came across a video from Dr.Rohit talking about this issue where he mentioned that if you start treatment within 48 hours of losing your hearing, it can be completely reverted. Though 15 days had passed, I still thought of trying my luck and went and met the doctor. The doctor was so friendly and he explained the treatment so well that I was ok to take the steroid injections. Since it was a localized treatment, I was convinced by the doctor that the side effects will be hardly any. He answered each and every question of mine very patiently and made me so comfortable that i effortlessly went through the treament. He gave me so much of hope with the way he handled me. I went with 65% hearing loss and after 5 days of treatment, I got 68% hearing back. I could start hearing better. Doctor asked me to wait for another 1 month (without any medication) and check again. The audio metry results further went up by 75% which was a great improvement. I am convinced that this doctor can do miracles with just the way he takes care of his patients and would strongly recommend him for any ENT issue especially sudden hearing loss. The main point is that you shouldn't ignore this and go as soon as possible, ie within 48 hrs and he guarantees complete cure.

My one and only sister (36 years) under went a Craniotomy surgery by Dr. Bhat had an utter unsuccessful surgery. I am quoting it "unsuccessful" Because, within 1 hour post OT, she had bleeding in her brain and the Oxygen supply was absent as, there were clotting and had a heart attack. Which lead to "Hypoxia"* *** ****** ** **** ********* *** **** ***** ****** **** **** * **** *********** ****** ********* **** *** **** ****** ** *** ***** ** **** **** **** ***** **** ***** ** ******** ********* *** ** ***** ** ** ******** ******* ***** *** **** ******** ** **** Also, they removed the part of bone below her right ear *** *** *** ** ********* ** ***** ******* ** ****** some part of her brain is simply hanging out as bulged protrusion. Since the day of OT, it has been more than 70 days, my beloved sister is in coma (vegetative state). She has a small child of 7 years of age and he searches him mum everyday and why she has not returned home since the day she went to Bangalore for her OT. *** *** **** **** ***** ** *** ** *** ***** ***** ** ***** ******* **** for us, the entire family including my old Father, Mother, her Husband, little child are undergoing this graved turmoil. Which I can never put up in words. We don't need his empathy towards our condition balming it entirely on the position of the tumor located in the brain (which he tried few times with my old Father) We trusted him and expertise but, he broke our family into million pieces. I don't recommend this Dr. To anybody!

Dr. Girish SP is a MAGICIAN. Very professional and disciplined. I consulted Dr. Girish SP, Lead Consultant - General & GI Surgery, Aster RV. May God bless him a lot. First time when I met him I felt like he's the one. He was so patient with me, he listened to everything I said. For the first time ever I saw a doctor gave his 40 precious minutes. So nice of him. I had a complicated case of inguinal hernia. I am 26 years old from sports background. I play professional cricket in Bangalore. So this injury was because of that. It happened in 2019 first time, it was operated by my family doctor. It was not done properly and it reoccured again within 6 months. I was in pain and depression for almost 2 years. I was not playing matches nor was I exercising. This time I consulted Dr. Girish, referred by some of the best doctors and physiotherapists in India. His method was very safe and successful. Whenever I go to Aster RV I speak to her first and then go. She is very customer obsessed, gives her best to get patients what they want. Overall I am very happy and healthy now. After consulting a number of ob- gyns and just not finding the right one , my husband and I did a thorough search and chanced upon Dr Bhawana Mishra . Reading the glowing reviews gave us hope that this Dr could just be the one. From the get go Dr Bhawana was like a breath of fresh air , with her calm demeanor and beaming smile . I felt comfortable and confident in her . She calmed my fears , addressed all my concerns and cleared my doubts without rushing through the appointment . Dr Bushra’s approach to treatment is like none other doctor I’ve met before. Initially I felt a little dissatisfied with the consult as the doctor gave me all solutions and lifestyle changes, explained the mind body connection of my symptoms. Where as I went looking for some further investigations for diagnosis. I was convinced that none of this would work. However, I was curious and gave it a try looking at the doctors confidence in the root cause of my chronic diarrhea. To my surprise I found that, it is exactly the kind of doctor I needed to see.
