A true Gem.For ever will remain gratitudinal for his exceptional care and helping diagnose a very rare problem . The doctor did not rush to give medicine and gave his very best in trying to identify. He showed immense patience to root cause and was empathetic to my father's situation. I salute his spirit everyday to do the very best. Our story being, We went around everywhere in South India, most hospitals in bengaluru and hyderabad without a clear diagnosis for my dad's headache and a long impending undiagnosed neuro muscular issue. A true doctor in every sense where he cared for my dad with utmost attention. Our family thanks Dr.Uday Shankar, his team and Sakra for helping resolve / showing a path for my dad's rare condition which is extremely impossible in India.

Doctor listened to my problem for 15mins atleast .Appropriate medicine is given to me along with advice to drink 3 litres water every day .

I took my 85 year old father to visit this doctor at Sakra. ** **** ****** ** ***** *********. My father due to his age and health problems was talking more and Doctor got irritated. My father was asked to get MRI done. Doctor also scolded that why you didn't get mri done last time? My father had pacemaker and was reluctant for mri. But we waited 4 hours in queue and got it done. When I went back to this Doctor with the report he very briefly looked at the written report. And said you need to first contact a neuro surgeon. Only then I can suggest. I asked him if he recommend any medication for fathers leg weakness. He just said go to neuro surgeon and then only I can suggest medication. Hardly in 3 minutes disposed of us after waiting hours for an 85 year old to get MRI done. I don't recommend this doctor. He's unfriendly *** *** ********

I had visited Sakra hospital for dizziness and head nerves pain issue. Dr Udaya Shankar had directly advised for MRI for Brain and EEG test ******* ** ******** ********* *** ******* *********. EEG suggested some references of Seizure symptoms and I was advised for repeated test and also possibly long term medication for epilepsy. I was worried and took opinion of other Neuro at famous hospital and it diagnosed as tension headaches. * *** ********* **** ***** ********* *** ** *** **** ** ** ****** ** *** *** ** *** ** **** * *** ******* **** ** * *** ********** **** **** ********** ***** ***** **** ****** ******* *******

I had visited Dr Udaya Shankar for a migraine problem. I kind of have a bad feedback for him, for the following reasons:

1. The doctor seemed like he is not interested in knowing the issue

2. Was very laid back and did not put efforts in listening to my problem

3. He asked me if I am ok to do a MRI. Gave a lot thought and decided to put me through MRI. It costed me Rs 10k.

4. What I got the report it was like I was disturbing him. As if I did a mistake.

My MRI results did not show any issues and post that Dr Udaya Shankar was not able to tell my problem. I was puzzled first of all he made me do a Rs10k+ MRI. I was expecting something for this test. I asked why was the MRI said in the first place. He said it was just to check if I had some problem in the past. That was my last consultation.

I read the following in some other patients feedback on Practo:

“[The doctor] had a body language 'why the hell are you bothering me'”

I totally support the above feedback(I am so happy to see a patient(on Practo) with the exact same sentiment as me with Dr Udaya Shankar. This really validates my experience/feedback).

My problem was not solved. I wasted Rs 10k+ in Fortis Hospital and wasted my time. I was totally disappointed.

PS: I personally find Practo to be a perfect portal to get accurate doctor feedback.

We had a very bad experience with Dr Uday, ******* ** *** ********* ** ******** *** ** **** *** ** ****** He diagnosed 11 year old as epilepsy and gave medicine* ******* *** *** ****** *** *** ******* ** ********* **** *** ******** *** *** *** ****** **** ******* *** **** ** *** ** ***** *** ** ********** On contacting him he said that he is not pediatric neurology, and to consult a pediatrician neuro, this doctor should have told this before. ******* ** **** ** ******* ***** **** **** *** ** ****** *** ** ******** *********

He is not bothered to listen to you. He is not interested the underlying cause of the issue. He put me on Thyroid medication. I stopped the medication after a month and went to another doctor. It turns out I have deficiency in Vitamin D, B12 and Potassium and that was my underlying cause.

He spent less than a minute in both my visits. I trust Narayaya Hrudayalaya, and so went there. I'm not sure why they have such a doctor in their hospital.

All the negative comments here are valid. I learnt it the hard way

The clinic was closed when I reached, which was exactly as the time I had taken the appointment for. I had been getting regular reminders of the appointment throughout the day. I called the doctor and he told me he wasn’t registered with Practo anymore.

It was a big convenience. Please remove his name from the app so that more people don’t have to go through this.

Dr has no patience and time to see patient reports. I spent almost 5 hours to see him by traveling in Bangalore traffic with my old age Father. But he spent just 30 sec and simply waiting to leave patient without talking. Just prescribed two type of tablets without listening/understanding patient problem and asked to meet after 1 month. Within a week my Father situation become worse. Should have meet right doctor instead of this guy. Please avoid him
