My sister-in-law was admitted there around 10 days ago and she was diagnosed with Dengue and she is pregnant. Her platelets were reducing (ideal - 1.5 Lacs) and after a week it came down to 38k. Dr Santosh came to check the report, laughed and warned the patient that she should not feel happy or celebrate as her platelets are still low and 100% it will go down further & to be prepared for further pain. What kind of a doctor would say this directly to a patient specially in this condition and when she is pregnant?? Didn't expect this kind of behaviour from a matured MD of a hospital. We immediately discharged her and she returned home. Next day her platelets increased to 57k, yesterday it went to 98k and by gods grace its 1.98lacs now so she is out of danger.
We are glad that we realised our mistake of admitting her in Santosh Hospital but moved her out the right time before any more damage could happen!
We don't expect a doctor to cry and give us pity, yes facts are required but don't make it a joke... Hospital staff and others docs were kind enough in their with the Doc-Patient interaction but it was this one Sr Doctor who have lost our trust and as a result we would never consult this hospital again. His behaviour is what was most hurtful and hence wanted to share it so that he reaches him & hopefully he realises so the patients can expect hope & proper treatment from that hospital instead of being threatened!
Please Avoid this hospital and the doctor , **** **** ********** *** ********* ** ***** *******.
doctor does not care about your time and I don’t even understand why they need an appointment. 6:30 was appointment time and doctor never showed up till 7:30 and we left cause of other pre planned commitments and we came back next day for appointment to find doctor sitting the cabin and having a long chat someone in cabin while we are standing outside for 30 mins all the staff was hesitant to inform the doctor as patients are waiting. *** *** ******* *** ********** *** **** ** ****** **** ******** *** ******* ********* ******* *** ****** Only good thing is they returned my appointment money
Firstly the doctor is supposed to be understanding and patient enough to hear to the problems of patients . Dr santosh saklecha shad a very negative attitude towards this where he wasn’t focussed to heal the disease and the patient both! His responses made very uncomfortable to even approach him and discuss health issues and trust his treatment!! Never felt comfortable
