Visited Dr. Raghavendra Babu (Gastroenterologist) For Gall Bladder (Biliary) Stone Treatment
My mother, aged 86 years was suffering from UTI and gall bladder stones. I was looking for a doctor who is known to me or known to someone I know and the hospital which is close to our home. Luckily, I was introduced to Dr Raghavendra Babu by a friend. For about 2 weeks before I met him we are exchanging text messages and he was very prompt in responding and clearing all the doubts that we had. We agreed that I would take my mother for initial assessment on the 3rd of April , 2024 and plan the surgery on 4th April.
As agreed, I met him on 3rd morning along wit my mother at Sparsh Hospital, Yelankha, Bangalore , and after examining he advised my mother to go through few tests which are necessary to ascertain her fitness for the surgery. After all the tests were done, he advised us to go home and bring her at 6 am next day for the surgery. *** **** ***** ** ** *** *** *** ** * ***** ** *** ***** ***** **** **** ** ********** ********* *** *** *** *** *** ** ** ******** **** ****** I really appreciated this.
The next day, the 4th April morning we admitted our mother at 6 am and Dr RB met us at 8 am and assured us that everything will go well and just relax.
My brother and I were waiting at the longue and just before he was to walk in to the operation theater he saw us and told us to go up have relaxed break fast and come after one hour.
Surgery got over in one hour or so and after that he showed us the gall bladder that they had removed.( What a nice gesture).
My mother was retained in the post operative care till about 7 pm and then she was moved to her room. The next morning Dr RB came to look up my mother and wanted to discharge her. As my mother had BP and urine retention we all agreed that its in her interest to spend that night at the hospital.
Dr. RB came on 6th morning and after examining my mother he advised us to get her discharged and take her home We went for review after one week and he was as always courteous and friendly.
Our pleasant experience with Dr Raghavendra Babu has made me to write this review. He is not only a good doctor/surgeon but easy to approach/discuss and an amazing human being. Huge thaks to Dr RB for taking care of my mother so well. I wish Dr. RB a very best in the days and years ahead.
The ambience at Sparsh, Yelanka was homely and all the other doctors, nursing staff and other staff members made our stay as though we were at home. I wish to thank all of them immensely.

I don't recommend this doctor at all, bcz my 3year baby had severe cold n cough with high fever from past 2 days n when I had been to this doctor, then common cold medicine was been prescribed to my baby, ***** * ******* *** **** *** ****** ****** ************** *** ** ** ***** when asked for changes of medicine n also for any antibiotic to give,he clearly declined, stating baby is all fine as her temp was normal at the time of doctor visit ,i told i have her fever medicine 2 hours back so her temp is normal other wise she was having 102, he was still in the same page but a soon as I came back home again her temp went to 102,
he prescribed medicine for fever
And medicine for normal cold to reduce
But he dint prescribed any sort of antibiotic ***** *** ****** *** ***** ********* *
No medicine was given for her cough as well even after telling multiple times
Whole night my baby was suffering from cough n mucus in her chest, this was making her temperature high every 4 hours
Latest the next day i went to another pediatrician,

Then the issue took 6 months rectification as doctor next visit was 6months in scedule.
